About Our Provider
Bonaventure Okeke, The Provider of Bon AFH LLC @ Mill Creek is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). I have worked in skilled nursing facilities in the Seattle area caring for a variety of vulnerable adults for over 20 years. My educational background includes a BA in Business and Economics and a Masters in Business Administration, MBA.
Other specialty training in preparation for Adult Family Home (AFH) management include:
- Nurse Delegation
- Manager Mental Health Specialty Training
- Manager Dementia Specialty Training
- 18 Hours of Developmental Disabilities Specialty Training
- 48 Hours of Administrative Training
- First Aid and CPR Training
- Several Continuous Education classes that involve care of residents in AFH.
At Bon AFH, I am directly responsible for the general operation of the home, which include admitting residents, hiring and training staff to give the best possible care any resident would expect.
All health care decisions are made in consultation with the resident’s physician, the resident, the DPOA and the delegation nurse.
I am involved in providing daily care of all our residents and my trained staff is present at the home at all times.
