- Are the grounds safe and house well kept?
- Is the house fresh smelling?

- Do the residents look clean and well cared for?

- Is there safety equipment? (grab bars, handrails, wheelchair access and ramps)

- What happens as the resident’s needs increase? (professionally developed plans, licensed staff)
